DescriptionThe whole garment is covered with appliqued stripes of multicolored cotton against a red cotton ground. This creates horizontal design bands. The designs include semi-circular scallops, circles, stars and striped checkerboard like areas. Yarn is used to sew the applique as well as for areas of embroidery. Protruding from the center of the front midriff section is a 2.5" long red and white striped appliqued stick.
