Provenance“Sameslöjd / Same-Ätnams slöjdutskott,” with handwritten price “23.00.” The printed text identifies the object with the Handicraft Committee of Same-Ätnam, a Swedish Sámi cultural organization involved in promoting and supporting Sámi handicraft.
DescriptionTeardrop-shaped pendant of red felt or wool textile with a blue central panel decorated with metallic-thread embroidery and edged with embroidered geometric motifs. Suspended from a braided fiber cord. An attached Same-Ätnam “Sameslöjd” label identifies the pendant as Sámi handicraft approved or distributed through the organization’s handicraft program.
