DescriptionTonsured male saint with bare feet attached to a cross with arms outstretched, and hands and body attached with pegs and / or black wire. He wears a dark blue tunic with a wide collar decorated with pink flowers, and with a gold rope belt around his waist and hanging down his right side. Two spears criss-cross his upper body going in at his waist and coming out through his shoulders. The cross is gold with many brown branches with pink cherry blossoms. Little gold and red-roofed pagoda finials are on the ends of the cross. The square base has two tiers with the top one repeating the Japanese motif with gray tree branches and pink blossoms and gray rocks against a brown background. The tower tier is black with gold decoration. Small red balls at each corner of the base support the whole piece.
