DescriptionThis musical instrument consists of overlapping sections of cow horn fit together forming a two-loop spiral. Leather bindings cover each joint. String loops hold the spiral together in two places. The mouth-piece end of the spiral is dark, almost black, horn,and the other end, the bell of the spiral has a hole drilled to hold two woven ribbons, one light green, the other blue.Late 19th - 20th C.
