DescriptionHand-built ceramic whistles in the shape of a horse. They are slip-coated with a white chalk substance and painted with tempera paint. They both have black facial features, mane, and hooves. One has red ears while the other has orange ears and both have goldleaf. There is a multicolored circle and ring motif painted on both and each have two front legs while the back end forms the mouthpiece.CA 1960, STAFF
