DescriptionThe "Cat with Prawn" is a favorite theme among Indian folk artists. This one is executed in what is known as the kalighat style, a peticularly Bengali style of painting named after the ghat (bathing area) at the base of the famous temple of the Goddess Kali in Calcutta.
