DescriptionColcha embroidery. This piece was hung in May 19-Sept. 8, 1963 exhibition at the Museum of International Folk Art. The central motif is a wreath of flowers (each with heart center) and leaves. Triangular designs of flowers and leaves in each of 4 corners inside brown border for top of bed. Scalloped embroidery on edges of birds, flowers and leaves. Corners large leaves and cocks. Part for covering pillows has separate design. Exhibited in MFA "Rebecca Salsbury James-A Modern Artist and her legacy" 11/26/91-4/26/92
