DescriptionBasket (a) with lid (b). Fibers in natural cream and browns. Main body of the basket is decorated partly in folded curlicues which extend from the surface of the basket. The bottom half is an alternating pattern of dark brown and cream strips. The lid of the basket also has the curlicues and light/dark patterning as well asgreen leaves and flowers made of the same material as the rest of the basket. Braids and cords of sweetgrass are also used as decoration at the rims and center top.ca. 1988
