DescriptionThis cartridge-pleated white wool under'braced' underdress has a stiffened hem covered in red and green wool. The hem has one center-front pleat and 3 back inverted/sewn pleats. The bodice is embroidered in wool and cotton, with front top edge of green wool piping.The front clasp is heart-shaped. Straps/braces with small embroidery motifs come from the back and button at front armhole edge.c. 1920
