DescriptionThe pants are made of a heavy SASHIKO (quilt stitched) cotton which has been painted on the interior of the legs. Each leg has an image of a man with light brown hair (a foreigner?). One is bald and bearded and holds a fish up to the dark stormy skies. A basket rests near him. The other pant leg show a man seemingly running to his basket of fish (fisherman?). There are plants and rocks around them, and the skies look smoky. The pants have been made to fit closely to the contour of the leg of the wearer; colors are browns, grays, blue, blue-green, light green, salmon, black; made of cotton with quilting and dye painted.
