DescriptionThickly applied matte yellow glaze with crinkled or semi-rough texture. Name of technique 'Abura-age-de' refers to deep-fried tofu. Green copper splashes on sides called 'Tanban.' Brown scorch marks on sides of bowl called 'Koge.' Asymmetrical in diameter and slightly uneven along top and bottom edges. Comes with wood box with Japanese calligraphy on top and cloth tie.
