DescriptionLarge, heavy, fringed textile of three panels. The central panel with bold interlocking diamond in diamond motif of blackish blue and white with touches of light clay and white. A central crosswise bar dividing the motif into two sections. The two outer panels each have a central similarly woven and patterned band, with two narrow flanking bands, separated by narrow stripes of bright terra-cotta orange, yellow, green and white, with accents of indigo and marine blue. Fringes gathered into groupings, loosely twisted and tied. The ends of the patterned striped "fade" to a clay color near ends - no blue in fringes.Late 19th - early 20th century
