DescriptionSaint Raymond of Nonnatus(?) Painted, carved, and gessoed. The figure wears a robe with red over mantle and short cape, holds black book, and black shoes protrude from the bottom. The base is covered with brown silk. “Habit appears to be that of Mercedarian order” -C. Mather.
