DescriptionNantucket oval light gold colored basket with polished wood base inside and out connected with wood dowel. Handle is solid piece bent into half-square shape notched at each end and connected to hinge inserted into basket edge. Basket is cane woven over reed staves and shiny with bent reed top edge bound with cane and nailed. Bottom wood piece outside marking reads :Judith A. Yacus 1981 Nantucket."
