DescriptionOf softwood, tubular, 9 bands of tin along barrel are hand cut, 5mm to 7mm wide and 4 to 6cm apart. Mouthpiece has one opening 3.5 cm from top, 2 openings at sides, 1.5 cm below top, 1 at back, 3.5 cm from top. Six openings on front cut at slight angle, upwards, lowest and largest 24 cm below top. Movable bridge or stop, of hardwood, has sharp corners, shaped like a boot with toe pointed toward mouthpiece. Stop tied to flute with buckskin. Two strand copper wire wrapped around bottom, fine brass wire around tapered end.
