This beautifully crafted doll is made from cloth with pigments applied and with clothing characteristic of the typical traditional dress of Guatemala, specifically Panajachel, near Lake Atitlán. Great attention is paid to the details of the guipil (huipil/blouse), the corte (wrapped skirt), the faja (fabric used as a belt), and jewelry, as well as the details of the face, especially the eyes and teeth.Artist not recorded
