DescriptionWoman's collar with hanging pectoral. The wool collar is a deep red (possible cochineal) woven band with with silver beads in a repeating geometric pattern of diamonds and zigzags bordered by parallet rows. Red braided ties on the proper left have two Chillean coins attached. Two braided loops are on the proper right. Suspended from the center of the collar is a silver pendant composed of five rectangular plaques linked vertically by small flora-shaped connectors. The second, fourth and fifth plaques are decorated with a small, central floral motif. the third plaque has a floral design punched out from the center. Each plaque is bordered with a geometric stamped or etched border. The sixth plaque is rounded at the bottom with a geometric cut out in the center. Seven cone-shaped dangels susepend from loops along the lower edge.
