DescriptionElongated, horned dark wood mask of a bushbuck has a black surface painted with red and green diamonds and white pigment triangles on the horns and top of snout. The slit eyes encircled by red, and the red mouth is open and has peach colored teeth. The back inside is roughly carved, the outside back edges are pierced along the sides and once at the top. Heavy dark brown waxed cotton thread added as a hanger near the top, and a thin twisted grass rope crosses near the bottom back.
