DescriptionA PAIR OF VESTMENT FRAGMENTS MOUNTED TOGETHER. Per Invoice: Turkish 16th Century Ottoman silk fragment, part of Christian Church vestment, embroidered with faces of angels (?). 2 Fragments of a church vestment (possibly a chasuble) shows angel faces, surrounded by wings (cherubian) inside interlocking meander. Probably Armenian; colors are off-white, gold, dark brown.
