DescriptionTile panel (66 pieces). Contemporary ceramic mural composed of individual tiles that form a provincial vintage kitchen scene in a 17th, 18th century style. Ceiling: wood beams; wood shelves; ovens; large table; counter with triangular green and white tiles. Nine figures preparing food (four chefs with white hats and jackets, one baker in green jacket and red hat, one man preparing fish in yellow jacket and red hat, one woman in yellow dress with white ruffles and dust cap, two servers in brown suits with red hats and sashes). Dishes on shelves mostly blue on white decorated mayolica; some brown ceramic bowls. Bottom of tile panel: Platters of fish, lobster, oysters, rabbit, pheasant and vegetables. Signature of artist lower right corner of mural.
