DescriptionTinwork Frame, Reddish Scallped Design For The Border, With An Image Of Mary In The Center Surrounded By A Circle Of Scenes Of The Life Of Jesus

Tin marco attributed to the Isleta tinsmith, with red-and-white reverse-painted glass surrounding a chromolithograph depicting the Virgin Mary encircled by scenes from her life. The print was published by Benziger Brothers and is based on a painting by German artist Fridolin Leiber. Historic photographs document this marco hanging to the right of the altar in San Agustín de la Isleta by approximately 1925–1935
