DescriptionHeavy black wool hooded cape. The hood of black velvet decorated with black, dark blue, turquoise and yellow beads in a single large geometric motif, the same on each side. A band across the top and down the back of the head is beaded in smaller black and dark blue geometrics. Inside, the hood is of the same heavy black wool as the cape. The body of the black wool cape is sewn with three wide horizontal bands of braiding which cover seams. The lower edge is self finished (selvaged), the front edge trimmed in black velvet with irridescent black faceted beads from hood to center point, and with round glass beads within fine outlines of couched black braid in undulating forms. Tiny areas of light green and yellow within this design.
