DescriptionSaltillo serape of two pieces - one side longer than the other - with a large serrated diamond in center over a field of interlocking dark blue and red-orange zigzags on a light gray ground. The ends are banded in the same colored stripes and the edges have a light olive green bordered strip containing four narrow stripes with simple interlocking geometrics. The large central diamond encloses four smaller serrated diamonds in red-orange, light olive green, dark blue, light blue, light gray, gold, pink, orange and magenta. Serape sewn down center with heavy white cotton thread. Although only lightly worn, the warp threads are visible within the weaving.
