DescriptionTwo carry baskets,two baskets and shoulder bar. Baskets (a,c): with round rims and square bases of light plain basketweave with splints lashed around rims, vertically at corners and center sides, from the bottom, as well as around bottoms. Carry baskets (b,d): with square rattan bases lashed at bottom corners to pairs of undyed, twisted uprights which are lashed together at tops to form eyes for hanging. The square bottom sections are wrapped in the center of each side. Shoulder bar e): Shoulder bar/carrying pole of unfinished bamboo is flattened, wide in the center, and narrow at each end. The ends have raised projections at the tips where they end in faintly diamondshaped carved widenings. The center of the pole has long, rounded depressions carved between the joints, the surface between the joints lightly stained and roughly carved.
