DescriptionLarge, shallow bowl-shaped basket on square base with round rim. Basket has sinuous bent vine piece lashed to outsides which forms four small handles just below rim. The dark brown basket has wide bamboo splints over which the narrow weavers run horizontally on the sides, but the bottom opens up and is just of woven splints over the square wood base. The top edge is lashed with two splints just below rim and finished with bent rods.
