DescriptionThe main body of the apron looks older and is of faded red and natural white stripes ranging from wide (top) to thin. The decorated areas are a darker shade of red, each with five thinly striped areas alternating green and white/green. These areas are outlined in gold ribbon. The upper and lower sections have stylized leaf embroideries and gold thread with four gold metal sequins on each "leaf." On the lower area there is more decoration set off by gold sequins. Both of the dark red areas are fringed---three strand braids serve as ties.
