DescriptionNatural tan slender, rectangular basket (a) with lid (b). The basket is decorated with bands of horizontal darkened weavers on the front and a portion of each side. Four button-like circular wrapped spiral forms and a diagonally wrapped bamboo splint are located around the opening and run vertically down the front. The lid is similarly finished at the rim, with a pair of dyed squares on the front. Wrapped strips create a loop opening. Three rods across bottom. Traces of fugitive light gray paint on splints at basket and lid openigs, and deeper in weaving overall.
