DescriptionMedium brown backpack (a) of herringbone weave body with wood splint base to which are attached two curved, bamboo protectors at the corners. Backpack straps are also attached to the base at the sides. The straps are woven and braided together at the top end, where they go over the lid and are secured to a loop at the top front side of the basket. Another thin braided strap crosses the lid from side to side and is attached at the back side corners. The rectangular lid (b) is also of herringbone weave, with darker brown bottom edge that appears braided and with a strip of braiding all round the top edge.
