DescriptionGlobular, oval basket on four woven feet with a narrow neck which flares to a nearly round lip. From the lip, thin rattan splints point inward, overlapping in a conical throat below the neck. Two small wrapped handles are attached at neck and shoulder, and a small loop protrudes from one side. The bottom is supported by crossed sticks. A short, twisted length of fiber hangs from the lip.
