DescriptionBlack wood tubular splint basket with nearly straight sides and round ends, both open. The entrance end is secured with three bamboo bent wraps and a conical splint interior piece pointing toward the other end, with an opening at the center. Inner and outer baskets lashed together by 2-3 bent wood strips. The holding end is covered by a convex woven rattan lid, the rim secured by a bamboo wrap. The lid is tied to the basket at four locations with rattan loops and twisted "strings." Ends of inner basket pointed.
